Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Drive Diagnostics website and the automotive electrical diagnostic and related services provided by Drive Diagnostics (“Drive Diagnostics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using our website, requesting our services, booking an appointment, or authorizing diagnostic work, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

The services required will vary depending on the vehicle, reported symptoms, diagnostic results, vehicle condition, and circumstances of the particular job.
3. Nature of Diagnostic Services
Automotive diagnostics are investigative services intended to identify, isolate, or help determine the cause of a vehicle problem.
A diagnostic service does not guarantee that a problem will be completely identified or repaired during the initial diagnostic appointment.
Modern vehicles contain complex electrical, electronic, software, communication, and mechanical systems. Some problems may require additional testing, disassembly, specialized equipment, manufacturer information, software, wiring access, or additional diagnostic time.
Drive Diagnostics may recommend additional diagnostic or repair procedures when necessary.
4. Diagnostic Results
Diagnostic findings are based on the vehicle’s condition and information available at the time of testing.
Results may be affected by:
- Intermittent electrical faults
- Damaged or corroded wiring
- Water or moisture intrusion
- Previous repairs
- Incorrect previous repairs
- Aftermarket equipment or modifications
- Low battery voltage
- Software or programming issues
- Hidden or inaccessible components
- Multiple simultaneous faults
- Mechanical problems affecting electrical systems
Drive Diagnostics will provide recommendations based on the available diagnostic information and professional assessment.
A diagnostic recommendation does not guarantee that replacement or repair of a particular component will resolve every related symptom.
5. Customer Authorization
Drive Diagnostics may require customer authorization before performing chargeable diagnostic, repair, programming, or other services.
By authorizing work, you confirm that you have the legal authority to authorize services for the vehicle.
Additional work outside the originally authorized scope may require additional authorization.
6. Diagnostic Fees
Diagnostic services may be charged according to a fixed diagnostic fee, hourly rate, or other pricing structure communicated to the customer.
A diagnostic fee may cover professional time, diagnostic equipment, testing, investigation, and technical expertise.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, diagnostic fees do not include parts, repairs, programming, or additional services.
7. Estimates and Quotes
Any estimate or quote provided by Drive Diagnostics is based on the information available at the time it is prepared.
Unless expressly identified as a fixed price, an estimate is not a guarantee of the final cost.
If additional problems are discovered, additional diagnostic or repair costs may apply.
Where reasonably practical, Drive Diagnostics will communicate significant additional work or costs before proceeding.
8. Vehicle Condition and Pre-Existing Problems
The customer is responsible for informing Drive Diagnostics of known vehicle problems, modifications, previous repairs, aftermarket equipment, security systems, damage, or other circumstances that may affect diagnostic work.
Drive Diagnostics is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, deterioration, or failures unrelated to the services performed, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
9. Electronic Modules and Programming
Some diagnostic, programming, coding, or configuration procedures involve vehicle electronic control modules and software.
Drive Diagnostics will take reasonable care when performing such procedures. However, results can be affected by factors outside our control, including:
- Battery condition
- Power interruption
- Existing module faults
- Software compatibility
- Manufacturer systems
- Communication failures
- Previously modified software
- Third-party equipment
- Existing vehicle damage
Additional procedures, testing, or costs may be required if programming or configuration cannot be completed as initially planned.
10. No Guarantee of Repair Outcome
Diagnostic services are provided to investigate and identify vehicle problems.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, Drive Diagnostics does not guarantee that diagnostic services will result in a complete repair or restore the vehicle to its previous condition.
Any warranty or guarantee applicable to separately performed repair work will be subject to the specific terms communicated to the customer.
11. Appointments, Cancellations and No-Shows
Customers are expected to arrive on time for scheduled appointments.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide reasonable notice.
Drive Diagnostics reserves the right to charge a cancellation or missed-appointment fee where such a fee has been communicated to the customer in advance.
Drive Diagnostics may refuse or reschedule an appointment when circumstances prevent the requested service from being safely or reasonably performed.
12. Payment
Payment is due according to the payment terms communicated to the customer.
Drive Diagnostics may accept cash, debit, credit card, electronic transfer, or other payment methods made available by the business.
Unpaid balances may be subject to additional charges or collection procedures to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Vehicle Pickup and Storage
Customers are responsible for arranging timely pickup of their vehicles after services are completed.
Where applicable, storage charges may be applied to vehicles that remain at Drive Diagnostics beyond a reasonable period, provided the customer has been informed of such charges.
Drive Diagnostics may exercise any rights available under applicable law regarding unpaid invoices or unclaimed vehicles.
14. Personal Belongings
Customers should remove valuable or personal belongings from their vehicles before leaving them with Drive Diagnostics.
Drive Diagnostics is not responsible for personal property left inside a vehicle except where liability is required by applicable law.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Drive Diagnostics will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or services.
This may include, where legally permitted, loss of use, transportation expenses, lost income, business interruption, or other consequential damages.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
